Here's another option from RPI, have not tried them but looks like the fronts should workfor the Z...

I just pm'd rpi to start a thread here and asked if he has installed his front flaps on a ZL1. I would like to order a front set, I dont think the rear is necessary just my .02.

I like THR ZL1'S design and Im sure they are funtional, I dont think I could drill/fasten directly to the sheet metal.

The fronts fit. The rear one do not. However the front ones are not really wide enough. I made my own using 12x18 blanks from AZ. I used the RPI ones for a hole pattern to hold the lower part then used 3M double stick tape to fasten the top portion. I now have much less debris on the side of the car and gill area.

Were you still getting chips with the RPI's?

Yes. I had RPIs on from the end of the first week. My "new" ones are about 1" wider and hang below the rockers about 1 1/2".

Thanks for the info.

I wish someone would make some that size and put them on the market. Right now I'm planning to Clear Bra that area for protection.

This is my first Chevy, so I'm still learning which areas need to be protected the most.

I bought the RPI's for my ZL1. The fronts are too small for our cars, so I drilled new holes on the rear RPI guards and installed on the fronts. That was the best and easiest solution I have found.
