To trade in or save up to customize?

Should I trade in on a zl1? or wait and customize the camaro i have now? Doing engine swaps and making it how i like it.

Lot more info. Is your car paid off and would getting a ZL1 mean taking on a payment? I say keep your car. But the ZL1 is an awesome car.

What's your thing. Show, drag race, Auto X or road course? If the answer is drag race then a stock ZL1 may not be what you want. If you just like to cruise and occasionally go to a track for fun but still have a warranty then a ZL1 may be your thing.

Unless you are doing all the converting and work yourself, the labor and parts will put your 2ss close to the ZL1 price tag. The ZL1 is nice, no doubt, especially with the factory warranty. You will pretty much be kissing the warranty on your ss goodbye once you start upgrading, especially past the bolt ons stage. You have to weigh it out. New car, more stock power and warranty, or keep the one you have, saving some money and building it up. Neither option is going to be cheap.

If money is not an issue, go with a ZL1.
