Thanks Spartan,

At first, about 2 years ago, it was about monthly for six months I'd get stopped. just warnings for the plate and my tint (which was 46% not 50%). Also, about that time, Bismarck PD just hired about 4 new officers trying to make a name for themselves, I told each and everyone of them they could stop me all they want but I'm NOT drilling into the front. Now it's been a year since my last stop and no issues.

I bought one of those hide-away plate systems but never installed it.

Now you see GTOs, Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes, Vipers, CTS-Vs, tuners, and just 'average' cars with no front plate. Pretty common sight when you look for it.

I was told the track in Glyndon required a helmet at all times, regardless of speed. And I believe if you're faster than 12.99, a loop is required. I don't think that is uncommon for a basic bolt-on SS. I can't say for myself, I've never had my car on the strip yet....but would like to someday!!!

Unless your running slicks OR running faster than 11.499 you don't need a driveshaft loop. (NHRA Rule Book, section 20, page 10)

That's why I thought you were running super fast! (or slicks)

Here's a link to the rule book.

Hey, there is a pretty decent car show up in Grand Forks at Rydell Chevrolet this Sunday (16th) from 12-4 pm. It's a charity/benefit show, and registration at the door is $35. I'm going with a few other "Camaro Buddies" from Fargo. I would really enjoy getting to meet any other Camaro5 guys who are going to attend. Please let me know if you're going!!! Hope to see you there!!!

Ouch, sorry this happened to your ride!!! Yep, this time of year is always bad, but just wait until rifle season, it's even worse. Luckily, my car is usually in storage by then.

Ouchies..I hate to see that on a fellow GM lover. If only those damn dear knew what they were doing.

I wish I could do my help in eliminating those darn things but North Dakota Game and Fish decided not to give me on this year.

How's everyone's Camaros doing? I didn't get out much in mine because of the rear tires being gone. (I wonder what could have done that. Not burnouts right? Must be the crappy Pirellis on it haha)

For those of you in the Fargo-Moorhead area, one of the local professional engineering societies is hosting Mr. Jerry Burton as a speaker on the 26th of February. I attached a copy of the flyer for anybody interested. If some of you guys are free that night, I look forward to seeing you there.

I'm from Bismarck, I don't discriminate because I'm a GM owner for life and my dad is a Mustang owner. I make it through Minot at least once a month, usually on the weekends.

To all: there is this event at Robi's Repair in Wilton ND. It'll be a dyno day plus a show and shine car show. It was a pretty good time last year. It's May 18 starting at 0800 and there will be a BBQ there too. I believe there will be a cruise in the afternoon, I'm assuming to Bismarck but I'm not to sure.
