Brand new here, need clarity on the SS front/rear badges please!

Hi all, I am brand new here..Tomorrow I'm going to pick up a brand new 2SS that I'm buying for my girlfriend. She has no idea I'm getting it for her, it will be in her garage when she gets home from work, I can't wait to see her reaction!
Anyway, I have done a bunch of searching here and need a bit of help on replacing the bowties with the SS on the front and rear. I am familiar with the SLP kit with the landing pads, however, I'd like to go with the 5th Gen looking SS over the "old school" that SLP offers. Question is, will the newer look emblem like on the Trailblazer (5") fit on the landing pads from SLP? Thanks!

The SS from the Trailblz will fit on the back ok without anything and then seen other people use the SLP deal for the front. From what I understand you need to heat it up a bit to bend on the front only to make work but does ok...I am keeping the bowtie on the front and blacken it out and doing SS on the back...

Welcome to the forum and hope you are keeping girlfriend around for long time
