The red does look really good but I agree with most people on this site about the sunroof taking away from the beautiful camaro.

Well, I don't exactly like how it opens but consider this: When closed, it keeps a nice smooth shape and it doesn't make the roof look hacked like in the previous t-tops. It also allows more light inside (if you want more). On the other hand, if you drive it, you will never look at yourself through a giant mirror and the ability to open and close on the fly makes it a better option than having to stop and remove your t"s and stow them in the trunk. Nowadays, it's all about convenience.

Though the sunroof would be better if it stayed in the roof, I don't think that would be possible given the slope of the roof in the back. I'm not getting a sunroof anway, I want my reverse mohawk!

Does anybody has dimensions on the roof opening?
I wonder if the size makes it a viable worty option? |

Edit button ftw. Torque gauge will be replaced by something. I forget where they said what it was, but torque gauge was canned. Also, what would you do if you added a cam or blower for torque? You'd break the gauge.

Sunroof looks good...but as others have said, I wanted the reverse mohawk.

I guess it really is to each his or her own, but I think the sunroof looks good (perhaps that's because I ordered it). Take a look at the fifth picture (front end offset shot). The like of the scoop on the hood perfectly aligns with the raised sunroof. You can see it again in the 11th picture (side shot). To me, it is great design and it accentuates the lines of the car when it is opened. If you really want to complain, ask why there are no T-tops.

Thought the torque gauge was only replaced in the auto trans.

I would rather have the fun of the manual trans standard than pay for other toys on the LT. I agree on the look, I am not a fan of the nonfunction mail slot SS front, the standard nose looks better IMO. |
