Fbody Tranny help.
I need you fouth gen Trans Am W6 experts to help me out.
I have a friend who has a 2002 Pontiac Firebird T/A Convertible. 5.7 v-8 6sd WS-6 RamAir He's looking to rebuild the transmission. (very mechanically inclined) I'm actually surprised he asked me to find the details for him. What I need is as much information I can find on his transmission. He'd probably prefer "service manual" type information. But if any of you experts can point me in the right direction or provide me with what he needs. I'd greatly appreciate it. He's a good friend who has helped me out on more than a few occasions. So, thanks in advance for any help at all.

I have some GMHTP issues that have some write-ups that I can try to find. I think they were pretty detailed but I can see if I can find them and look. http://www.sixspeedsinc.com/ - If I remember right, these guys did a write-up on a build for the Editor-and-Chief's 1SC car, but their site is down right now... Sorry.

I don't suppose you'd want anything directly from GM? I could get onto Service Information and find whatever you need specifically.

No problem. Anything from specifications to repair instructions I can get from SI. That goes for anyone who needs technical help.
