e more progress today, but not as much as i had hoped for, didnt get very warm so took awhile for the filler to cure, and defenately wasnt warm enough to prime it anyway,so i applied the filler on the top edge of fender then sanded that all smooth and flat,so now thats ready for primer, then on to the bumper cover wich took the longest to cure,i only got half of that sanded flat and smooth today tomarrow i will finish that, that poly flex is good stuff and worked better than i had expected, its gonna turn out really good, also tomarrow im hoping to start prepping the engine bay for paint, and also working on the door jams if all goes well.

I did the whole floor thing once. IMO - I would try to patch up the original floor where ever possible. Keep as much of the good metal and fill in the holes with patches. Doing the whole thing was a pain for me. You need to be very careful to get it all right.

yeah im only in need of the two patches behind the front seats, thats all im gonna do but im gonna re seal the whole floor and put rubberized coating in it so it doesnt rust again, that undercoating is a great rust barrier.but the interior will be saved for later wanna get it all running and driveable first interior is actually in pretty good shape for 33 years old.i havent even pulled all the capet up yet to see what lies under it,so im really not positive what all i need to patch, maybe next winter i will work on the interior, wanna have a little fun with it first.but the trunk is still like new and underside of car is very clean and barely any rust.

fender

was another beautiful day in michigan 65 degrees i love it was a great day for working on my z28.spent most of the day sanding down the front fender came out really good, the hardest part was getting all the rock chips on the lower section ssanded smooth, had to sand that to primer, but turned out really good and smooth, and cleaned it good with wax and grease remover,in a few minutes i will be going to lay my last coat of 2k primer.
