I found mine in Georgia lol. It was totally worth though. I spent countless hours looking on autotrader, Craigslist, and calling dealers to find the one that was just right. When I saw it on Autotrader I knew it was the one for me. I called the dealer right away and put a $1500 down payment on it cuz they said they had several people looking at it just that same day.
So the moral of the story is just wait for the perfect one. You'll find it when the time is right. Don't rush into something right away cuz it sounds good, you'll regret it. Trust me.

I found mine on eBay. Don't hesitate to use cars.com, autotrader.com, or searchtempest.com. Also don't forget LS1tech and CamaroZ28.com classifieds.

Never hurts keeping an eye on the local used lots too. I seem to be a stastical outlier/lot stalker because I found mine mere hours after the guy traded it on an '11 5.0. 29K miles and they had just done a check of the car.. thought she was f'ked up.
Turns out the rotors needed changing and the fluids switched out. Former owner let it sit. 10.3K was the negotiated pre tax price.. you can do it man. Just keep a sharp eye out. |

You can get a nice semi-high mileage but reliable late 4th gen for about 5k. Pass.

I really enjoyed my 93. I just hated I didnt have the knowledge to use Lt1 edit program to tune the car so I i went with a jet stage 2 chip and an MSD ignition box. I never had problems with the optispark either. I had big plans for her, headers, lt4 conversion and 3.73 gears along with a complete supension rebuild. Had to sell her though :( wish I would have kept her. Im gonna attempt to post pics.
