What should I do for an air intake?

Hey everyone,
Im new to the board and am not sure how things work yet.
But Im looking to get an air intake for my 1995 Z28 camaro but heres the catch im on a budget of about $150, the most important thing I need in the intake is a new elbow because the stock one is ripped. So my question is, should I buy a kit? or for that matter is there a kit for that price? or could i build one from other performance tubes and such?
Much help would be appreciated.

If you can go a little over your budget I would go with something like this K&N off of ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/K-N-C...#ht_3450wt_939

Or, you could always go with the cheaper intake that has a K&N filter. This is what I have on my Camaro, and I have never had any complaints whatsoever.

Do you know if there is a huge difference between the 2? also does the cheaper one have all the correct sensor holes and intake holes and everything needed?

I do not know if there's a substantial difference, I've never used the K&N brand one. However, from everything I've heard from other's they are pretty similar in power gains and increased throttle response.

As for sensors, the one I got did have all of the correct hookups for sensors so I would assume that any one you get would be along the same lines.
