Is this ring for the wheel speed sensor?
Removed axles for CV boot replacement,noticed a ring with 3 ears.Thinking its for wheel speed sensor. Can someone confirm?

I do not believe it is an oil seal.

It's a crush washer for the axle. Should have one on each axle.

Wheel speed sensors are in the hubs.
