My creeper sucks. Got any recommendations?

My favorite creeper is a big piece of cardboard. You can roll and slid around under car and never get clothes, tools, drip light cord or anything else caught under wheels. Nothing more of a pain in the a-- than trying to arch your back and kick your legs to get the creeper moving again when wheels get stuck.
I have a couple of creeper, a few jacks and a lift in my garage, but still use the old cardboard. Great for kneeing on too keeps the cold ground from your knees.

Harbor Freight tools has one for $30 and is great. It has six large low profile rubber wheels and the base is molded with tool slots on each side.

Just had a sell at harbor last month on this one and I stole it for $ 17.98 !
Get's the job done plus easy clean up.Can't beat it.

If you are going to Harbor Freight check Hot Rod Mag. , Musscle Machines Mag. and some boat mags. they have ads with sales & 20% discount coupon. Started seeing the ads last fall.

The Harbor Freight creeper you guys are talking about on sale for $18.49 reg price $34.95 in May 12 Hot Rod Mag. page 65.

Just finished installing a clutch in the 69 and an old piece of carpet worked great for me. I have a good creeper and don't use it for the reasons stated.

I've had a giant carpet remanent over heavy plastic sheeting in my garage for years. Keeps the garage floor clean, more comfortable than rolling around on the concrete, and seems to do a good job of keeping those pesky items that are dropped from rolling/bouncing out of sight.

When you really need a creeper, I use The Bone. Very comfortable.

I have a craftsman creeper that turns into a chair. Love it. Not sure on the price though. It was a present from the wife

Lisle creeper. 80 dollar range, nice head rest , comfortable and durable. Have had mine for 4 yrs with daily use, clean the wheels every so often and good to go
