Then again this would look awesome with the rest of my CF.

Halltech is a good choice too.

I certainly believe that has something to do with it. I took a road trip back in June out to CA and I did notice the bucking and surging in CA. When I got back up in altitude, it was much better.

As for me having corrected times, it is the ONLY way those of us who live a mile high can compare to those at sea level. Feel free to bring your cars up here to Denver and see what kind of times you post. You WONT be happy I can assure you! Lack of air makes a BIG differance!

And because if you used our "corrected" times, there is a good chance you may not be #3 on the "official" fasted 1/4 times ! :>)

This of course is only my opinion and should not be taken as fact by anyone who believes otherwise!

Fact is you run what you run. Its just that simple. Shoulda coulda woulda is nice but is not fact. Sorry it hit a nerve buts thats just the truth. There is an unofficial list that you could add your corrected time too. The funny thing is there are 2 L99`s on there just behind me and just in front of me et wise on the unoficial list, but they both out mph me w/ their corrected times by 2mph. Both number 9 and Red Jewel 2ss have almost the same mph as me and they actually ran their times. Again the calculators are a great tool but not exact. Case in point is the ET calculator for weight and hp if it was a zero DA day. It said the fastest my car would run would be 12.6. I beat that by 4 tenths. The air I made my run in was only worth may .05-.10 better in the 1/4 mile than a zero DA day. So it was off by at almost 3 tenths.

Right but if you reread my thread you will see he increased the intake tube diameter and is running the new style maf like in the 5th gen. Very true that the stock maf in the 4th gen did not seem to have those issues w/ the screen out. However it was easier to tune if you left the screen in place per my tuner. I will see if I can get him to take a pic of the intake w/ this screen in place for you since you want to call bs on it.

I would be very interested to see a back to back comparo of the vararam and the adm race. The 3 fastest bolton L99`s still run the ADM Race, so until their is a comparo looks like the ADM race is still on top.

Ok since you pulled the BS card, instead of just asking for more details. Here`s the pic:

Another thing, I`m sure you won`t believe it but it is in the pic as well (paper filter) is it made more power thru a paper filter than the k&n. Very minimal but did pick up a little. Do I need to get before and after dyno graphs for you or will you believe me since I provided proof that he added a honeycomb to the intake before the MAF ( 5th gen style maf) or do you prefer to call bs again and be proved wrong. I`m actually very easy to get along with, just don`t call bs unless you know for a fact it is bs or have done the research to back up your belief. I did place that disclaimer in my previous post, yet ya`ll chose to make fun of it. Anyways, I digress...

His set up made 561rwhp NA on a 402CID hydraulic cam, a very streetable one at that. How much did your 408 make to the tires? He is pushing the envelope and not sticking w/ conventional thinking. He wanted a very streetable, fun, high NA hp car. Think he nailed it. The reason he thought outside the box to fix the surging and bucking he was experiencing.

Milk, I`m done. Back to the OP`s question, looks and power ADM, CAI, Rotofab or Halltech would be my choice.

I'll try to get to the track and test both the ADM and Vararam, but can't make any promises. The earliest would probably be sept 4th. I'll do my best to do back to back and drive around to let the ECM relearn. I'm missing some parts for the vararam install and waiting for them.

pm on the other stuff...

Well I would recommend the HallTech CAI , you seen the results at Titan for yourself! Plus for the EYE CANDY aspect, the Halltech stands out better!!
