You can't really just say the Mustang Dyno is xxx% lower than a dynojet. Mustang like alot of dyno's can be calibrated. It can read low ,close or higher than a dynojet. Our Mustang dyno came calibrated like crap. After some calibration testing we got it up close to my old dynojet readings. -But I could easilly make a 500rwhp Dynojet car read 800rwhp on our's by just messing with some stuff.I can even bring it down to 300rwhp.

Just saying the best way to compare is to go run on a Dynojet.(of course not all dynojets read the same either)

= math failure

you divide by 1 - the loss %.

If stock HP is 426 and rwhp is 370, that is a 12.9% loss.

so whatever you dyno, divide by 0.871

You have precisely enough to break the rear end...good luck, my brother! Sounds to me like you will have enough to make you lift!

Correct , But on a mustang dyno [ we dynoed 3 bone stock ls3 cars this saturday ] you will see 345-355 at the wheel ... As for calibration of the dyno [ ours is Factory set ] we are lucky enough to have ,
a superflow [ slp's ] it's 13.5% higher ,
Dyno Pac [ ECS ] 11.5 % higher ,
Dyno Jet [ Big Daddy's ] 18 % higher
... so using all of these different numers means your drive line loss will be different ... I doubt you'll find to many shops who have tested the same car on 4 different dyno's ...

Bottom line GO TO THE TRACK the MPH will not lie ... and base line your car stock to see the gains on that dyno ...

Oh to the OP , that seems high a little high ... see above to confirm

My SuperFlow came with a Calibration arm and weights and I check it periodically, it is never off more than 2 ft lbs so it is very consistant.

The Numbers we see are consistently backed up by Track Times, MPH Vs Weight.

We took a car around to the other local dynos 1 Dynapack, 3 Dynojets, and 1 Mustang.

The Dynapack, 2 of the Dynojets and the Mustang were with in 2 hp, 1 Dynojet Read 10% higher.

The shops that own the first 3 dynos have had them a long time and know full well how to calibrate they're sensors and weather info, the last shop was just a guy with a dyno and didn't care in the least, he rented it out for 50.00 an hour.

There are Dynos that Read Low, Maryland Performance has been battling this for many years to no avail, they're reads about 40 HP low on average.

So Maybe I am just Lucky to have a good one.

If I see 355 on an LS3 something is wrong, Bad Gas is 99% of the time the Problem.

Ted.

What do you see for an LS3 5th gen ? We have had over 15 stock ls3 cars on our mustang dyno ... and yes some will go 360 but most will hit 350's

The mustang dyno also has a weight and calibration arm ... every month ours is done and lubed ... But as I say

Always in the 370s unless the gas is junk.
