JANNETTY RACING CAI TEST RESCHEDULE

Unfortuneatly we have to abort the testing, the TEST car has a full tank of junk fuel, we tried adding race fuel and octane booster but the car is still pinging and blowing brown smoke, we are seeing 8-10 degrees of knock retard, I think it may have diesel in it ???

We CAN'T Possible give a fair and honest test results if we can't even baseline the car without all the detonation.

It was a lot of work all for nothing, we will have to reschedule, another car another day with another good tank of fuel.

Sorry guys I am as disappointed as you are.

Ted.

When Gas sits it goes bad, in today's economy a lot of gas stations are not selling Premium.

Always seek out high volume gas stations, and you might even ask how much premium they sell or how often they order premium.

Sometimes Delivery trucks mess up and drop diesel in a gas tank, Not saying that is what happened but I could not get this car to stop pining with the addition of 5 gallons of 100 octane race fuel and then octane booster added to the fuel in the tank.

So it had to be some pretty Stale Fuel or mixed with Diesel Who Knows???

Either way I am serious about obtaining the most accurate data Possible and we could not get it done properly with bad fuel.

Ted.

I for one would like to apologize to all, especially to the guys at JRE. It was my car, and I had no way of knowing the 93 octane I thought I bought from the gas station was actually something totally different..Now I know, make sure I use gas stations I know that are busy

For what it's worth, the guys at JANNETTY really are great tho and the atmosphere made me feel very comfortable. I would work with them again.

Again, sorry for the disappointment

I don't know what it's like where you guys are from but where I am the 94 pump even has it's own hose so you don't get any 87 in there at all.

Yea here is the same, it said premium and I always double check cuz it's my first new car and I wanted to go by the book as far as fluids. It does make me wonder what gas station to trust...
