Plastidip FTMFW!!!!!

Here are some preliminary pics. Once I get the other side done and the car cleaned up I'm gonna do a shoot. I'm amazed how easy it went on and how great it looks. We'll see how it holds up.

I'm thinking about doing this to my nurburgrings. I want the flat black look instead of the flat gunmetal!

I like black on black but in my opinion gloss black would have looked much better.

Looks great, I might have to try this plastidip stuff out. Also, is that the showstopper sniper grill on your car?

Looks great! I kind of like the stock lugs on there, goes with the emblems well.

Turned out great! Flat black looks good IMO. Had some semi-matte CCWs on one of my Black Raven CTS-Vs that were awesome.

I kind of like the chrome lugs too. We'll see how I feel about them after a month.

Yes it is, I love it!

I really don't like gloss black rims on a black car. I don't even like all black rims on a black car but for $30 and a couple hours of work I figured I'd try it out. I could peel off the plastidip if I didn't like it. But I actually really like the finish. It matches the matte hood stripe and matte "LS7" panel very well.

I love seeing this thread! I actually discovered this process a few days ago and was actually about to spend $500 on a new set of take-offs just so I could paint them...not anymore. Ive got new tires coming in this week and I'll be doing this to my wheels. For $30? You just cant beat that!
