Great vid! I've always prefered the Roush stangs over the Saleens in the visual department. Also, I'd much rather meet Jack Roush than Steve Saleen, lol. Anyway this vid just backs up the fact that they beat the Saleen in the performance department too. I mean it's crazy when you see those stats that the lighter (by 324lbs), higher powered (+30hp/+25tq), $10K more Saleen gets stomped in almost every category.

The Roush cars are actually 475 hp, they under rate them on purpose because some guy put his shiny new Roush on a Mustang brand dyno(has nothing to do with Ford or the Mustang) but is a manufacture of a particular dyno, well it came up short on hp as the Mustang brand dynos are not known for their accuracy, there was a lawsuit, the car was ordered re-dynoed by a third party and Roush won, so now because of that our cars are underrated, dam lawyers and idiots. Speaking of dynos, just read about a 705 hp version of the Camaro coming from a tuner, 109K though.

Hennessy makes some mean Vipers, he is just amazing at getting hp, but he is really really shady when it comes to business.

Yep, sounds like it, and besides....if I had $109K to spend I'd be getting a ZR-1

Oh and about the Zaino....I'm definately going to be trying that out to make my black 2SS SHINE. Sooooo many groups of Chevy, Dodge and Ford car enthusiasts seem to swear by it so I'm thinking I can't go wrong.

Nice car aside. The Mustang competition getting faster with the new model doesn't relate to buying an old mustang...

Of course it will need some modifications

I wonder how it would fair against a Hurst Challenger

I'm pretty sure he was just referring to Mustang GT's.

Nice Roushstang, I'd take it over a GT500 any day of the week, not digging the carbon fiber interior but I'm sure plenty of others do. I'd still take a tuner Camaro if I wanted to spend that much, but since that's not yet an option I won't hold your slight lapse in judgement against you.

Saying he beats a srt8 thats N/A with his supercharged stang isnt apple's with apples comparison imo. Dont get me wrong thats a fast car u got there op but once those chally guys start putting superchargers and turbo's on those cars as well when they make the srt10 with the viper engine you will have your hands full See you on the streets

So if I take what your saying, then no more comparing the GT Mustang to the SRT8 and the Camaro because they are big blocks and the Mustang is a small block so it would not be comparing apples to oranges. Ford chose a different path than Chevy and Dodge and is going with smaller displacement supercharged/turbocharged motors while Chevy and Dodge went the old fashioned way and stayed with normally aspirated big cu in motors. I keep hearing nasty rumors that the GT Mustang may even get rid of the V8 instead of a V6, granted the V6 is twin turbo and is 450 hp, not that far of a stretch when you see the 2010 Taurus SHO twin turbo V6 is 365 hp. In my opinion we should be comparing the top model in each cars line for bragging rights that pits the SRT8, SS, and GT500 since all three are factory built. IMO of course
