I'm anxiously waiting for someone to buy a set and report back on how they work out.

Just bought a pair of 305-35-ZR20's from TireRack.com. We'll see how they are. Website says they'll ship tomorrow, 11/23.

My set of 285/305 arrived yesterday and I will have them mounted and balanced over the weekend. Feedback to follow.

First time out in the snow yesterday. About an inch so not a lot but *wow* what a difference from the summer-only tires! Guess it's to be expected but I'm impressed!

My ZL1 is still parked inside at the dealership. I am waiting for my tires to get here so I switch them over and drive it home (it is Winter here in Idaho). We wont see 40 degrees until April, doubt the dealer wants to stare at my Camaro until then.

If anyone else is interested in these tires, Sam's Club told me of a deal over this weekend if you order them on the Net you save another $50. Their price mounted and balanced was $850. I did not take advantage of that deal, but I used the price to beat up my preferred tire shop (did not want Sams Club touching my car, but honestly I am not sure there is much difference, but if my guy jacks up my rims changing them over, he will make it right).

My local Chevy dealership refused to install these tires for me because of the w speed rating. They said for liability issues. Not sure if its all dealer ships or just this one. I think its BS. So for now I am trying to find a decent installer before I order them.

That doesn't make sense. Many snow tires don't have the speed rating that the equivalent Summer tires do and yet millions are installed every year. The important point to remember is that the operator knows the rating of the tires that are currently on the car. I have no plans to exceed the rating on the BFG AS tires so they are staying on all year. I was presently surprised at how affordable they are.

I did read the fine print. The mileage warranty is cut in half when the tire sizes on the vehicle are not the same. Just something to be aware of. I plan on keeping these tires on all year.

That's funny on the warranty. I guess they're thinking same size = tires will be rotated. Ain't gonna happen with 1LE fitment hah.

I know, doesn't make since to me either. He said because the car came with Y rated tires they wont install anything below that. He even went to his boss and he said no. Only checked 1 dealer so maybe its just this place.
Anyways ordered mine today, 285 fronts 305 rears. I found a tire place hopefully they wont scratch or mess up my brand new LG ZR28 wheels.
