Got a chance to trade my seats for Recaros
But I have a question.. For anyone who has swapped in Recaros for their stockers. I searched and concensus is that that will bolt right in both ways. The part that has me unsure is some posts say you need to reprogram for the heated seats? Is this only when you buy them new? Said something about needing a code. I need to make sure everything thing works fine in my car and the person who is swapping with me to make the deal go through. Who has done this and what should I expect with the reprogramming thing and wires connections.

Reprogram?
I'd imagine it's just a fuse, it's just heated seats... not like you're reprogramming an entire ECU |

I bought them out of a car with a couple hundred miles. Never had an issue. Make sure you unplug your battery, swap them out and you'll never look back. I have the 2SS/RS with heated seats. 0 issues, everything works.

If the car has heated seats equipped from factory, plug'n'play. If not, the BCM needs to be flashed.
