First time I have been screwed over by a company and I will try to lay all the details out, as I understand some people have had good experiences with them, however unfortunately I did not.

I have a 2018 ZL1 1LE that I began doing a 4 point Roll Bar, and 6 point harness set up. To reduce as much drilling as possible, I reached out to Garage Therapy NC (GT) for sub harness bars. My choices of Rollbar was between RPM and GT. As I know for sure i wanted the GT sub harness bars if they subharnesses would not fit around the RPM rollbar i would go with GT rollbar.

I asked if Jordan could modify (Shorten) them to fit the RPM rollbar (which main hoop brackets might sit in the way of the sub harness bars), as if he could not modify them I would most likely go with the GT rollbar. Jordan assured me this would not be a problem stating via email multiple times "We can modify the sub harness bars to any length", "We can build sub harness bars to work around that, if you choose to go that route (RPM Rollbar). Jordan even stated, "I just want to be sure you get what you need, even if its not with our product" thus influencing my decision to get the RPM rollbar. We agreed I would install the RPM bar and get the measurements to him to begin making the sub harness bars.

Spent the money and hours installing in the RPM rollbar, and immediately gave the measurements to Jordan to begin the sub harness bars. I received an email back from Jordan saying they will not custom make sub harness bars. Without a legitimate reason why, claiming it was because i went with a competitor rollbar after they said it was not a problem.. I am now without subharness bars before my track day. Additionally, they refused to sell me normal harness bars unmodified (Thinking they still might fit) that they list on their website, however they still refused and not sure why. While I give them they were very helpful answering my initial questions, In the end they agreed to make these bars well before the install and they have lost out in $3.5K in sales cause of their initial agreement. Shady business practices are not cool. Most likely will be going with some other option or drilling Eyebolts for sub straps, but its the principle.

seem like cool guys over there but ive never done any business with them did you buy the cage or did you ship your car there to get the work done?

Ended up going with the RPM rollbar to retain stock rear seats and planned to use GT's sub harness bars as they said they could custom make them to fit the RPM rollbar. Installed RPM rollbar myself in Texas then sent them the measurements for the sub harness brackets like we agreed. They refused to make me the custom brackets we agreed on or even sell me the standard brackets they make. Not sure why but that's just them losing out on sales lol.

All good, it will get resolved one way or another. Just don't appreciate the way they handle their business but to each their own.

was there a big price difference from one you got to their bar? maybe they just wanted to push you into buying their bar which makes sense

Roughly $400 price difference. The issue is they agreed to make the custom sub harness bar and that's the reason i went with the other one.. if they wanted me to use their rollbar and subharness bar then they shouldn't have said they could make the custom one! They lost their own sale and screw me in the process.

Always someone who will make you what you want. Just tkes money and the opportunity. It could get a good company off the ground to step up.

Stock ZL1 Seats, with the Flexi 2x2 Harnesses 6 point

Yep! their are a few other options, and I have chose to go another route. Still felt the need to get this out there in case it happens to someone else.

Yep, doesn't matter if you are in the wrong or not, with that level of unprofessionalism more issues will arise.. Sad
