I have one question to whomever works for GM and is reading this..

If we order the front grill, is it going to be painted cyber grey as it is in the dale jr camaro? If I order the color of the camaro cyber grey, will it match? Or is it going to be black? This will make the difference if actually order this grill or not since it is growing on me..

Betcha it'll be black.

And, I also betcha that Jr. said it was out of his price range for "that" specific, one off, Dale Jr. Camaro. I bet all the man hours put into that along w/ the parts cost a pretty penny. Still, ....not be able to afford one? ....hpf. Please....Mr. Millionaire

Found this info on ESPN.com. They have more pics of all the SEMA Camaros.

Chevy Camaro Dale Earnhardt Jr. Concept

Dale Earnhardt Jr. fell asleep one afternoon on his couch and had a dream about the new Chevy Camaro SS. When he woke up, he grabbed a napkin and sketched his own version of the Camaro complete with 21-inch rims, a custom Earnhardt-special paint job, and ground effects. He faxed it over to Ed Welburn, GM design chief, and Ed said, “I don’t know how Earnhardt faxes a napkin, but let’s build this SOB!”

Even if you're not a NASCAR-edition type, it's easy to envision this thing flying off the shelf in North Carolina. We also like how this particular vehicle has been calibrated to run on Iowa-corn sourced E85, very patriotic.
The only thing I like about this car is that the front grill is painted in cyber grey, same as the top portion. Since I am ordering in cyber grey, this grill in the same color would look cool, however I'm afraid if it is plain black, then it would only look good on a black SS order..

So Dale did the whole sketch of how he wanted it on a napkin?? No wonder he can't afford the car once its completed

i highly doubt a Dale Jr edition (or any of the SEMA concepts for that matter) will ever see the light of day. those cars were one-offs designed to showcase some of the possibilities of the car and GMPP accessories that will be available. would be nice though...

The only thing that makes me think this Dale Jr. concept could maybe make production is the fact that it has a plate on the dash that reads, "Limited Edition".

Just makes me wonder what the intent there was...

I wonder how many people have ordered the Chevy accessories grill? If only it was painted the color of the car and not black, I would consider it..

Inspiration for the Jr Car - Detroit Speed

This is the Original car from the Dale Jr Hotrod tour. This beast was built by no other than Detroit Speed. Man would I like to get one of these and a 2010 edn. side by side in my garage!

If you go to the GM performance parts website they have a SEMA section that shows the available parts off of the concept cars. Those wheels are available but they are pricey.

Any definative word on the availability of the "Junior" 21" wheels? Only from GMPerfParts, or...?

Oh, it also basically says why the dovetail spoiler isn't on the GM accessories list yet too. It says "features a center integrated stop lamp (not shown)". Guess they are still working on that.

Does the 2010 Camaro even have a 3rd brake light? I don't remember seeing one.
