I just put my SS on a boat headed for Sigonella.
Can't wait. Gonna be 55 days before I see my baby again!
However, I did all the prep-work I could before she left... Cold Air, Headers, and a Jet-Chip programmer. The stock manifolds and intake are in the trunk in case I run into any issues and have to reinstall them. Figure if I don't need them I can throw them away when I get there.
I will have to install a front license plate bracket and that really pisses me off. Don't want to poke holes in the front bumper!
Gonna be a fun three years though.
Really looking forward to it!

Here are the last pics stateside. (if I did it right lol)

Wow, what kind of taxes And transportation costs does it take to send it over, hat can't be
there are some versions that use the existing holes under the bumper to mount a bracket for a plate so you don't have to drill any holes. There is probably a thread on that .

Will definitely look in to that!
And the cost of shipping is part of my move so paid for by work.

I dont know about in the Sicily area but here in Vicenza there are a few places that will help you keep up on your warranty. I asked the New Car Sales guy at the PX, they seem to know a bit about things since the cars they sell have US warranties and are US Spec.

As for drilling into the bumper, DONT! unless you want to. There are several license plate brackets out there that use existing holes in the bottom of the bumper. JacFab on here sells them, they are currently going to 80 dollars or so with free shipping if Im not mistaken. Bent or straight.
I am waiting on my camaro to board a boat and come over..... no clue as to when that will happen.

Good Luck and enjoy, Ive been here 2 weeks and it is not bad.

Finally!!!

She's all decked out with Euro plates now.
In desperate need of a wash and wax.
Plasti-dip got jacked up on the wheels, but that's easy. Other than the wait, no complaints!

Hi InfidelSpartan, I'm Simone and I recently moved in Vicenza for work. I live in San Pio X near the Caserma Ederle. I really try to understand if there are some chances to pay less this car, maybe with the help of someone inside the base.
I presume that your internal car sales can't sell outside, and even if it's possible, i have to deal with Italian burocracy....

For the italians here:
Consigli su dove/come comprarla e quanto costa mantenerla?

Avete esperienze in merito?

Mojatto,
I've seen two other Camaros since I've been here, and was also told there are a few track meets in the area. Agrigento and Syracusa. Have you been?

Buongiorno ragazzi.

Grazie in anticipo.
