Man is it Loud
I just mounted a set of JBR LT headers with Hi performance Cats and 3" exhaust on my 2SSRS L99. It sounds really mean, but the interior noise is pretty significant and the wife is grumbeling already. Does anybody have any ideas on how to ease the interior noise without loosing to much in the way of performance?

Pull all the seats and rugs out and install dynamat, it is not cheap, but it works.
Also can be installed behind door panels, etc. http://www.dynamat.com/products_auto...at_xtreme.html

try doing the trunk area first...get it as good as you can. might be enough..the mufflers are right under the trunk...

I have almost the same setup. Had the trunk floor, battery area, wheel wells Dynamatted prior to LT's. Seemed to help more with road noise. Interior noise level is much higher when accelerating, very nice at cruise. I also put in a cargo mat-did not make much difference. Was thinking of having more mat installed under rear seats-maybe latter. Hope you tuned out DOD. I could not handle the drone!

Im in the same boat with my LG exhaust. My wife thinks its too loud, dynamat seems to be the best solution.

Magnaflow 2.5 Street Catback.
It's the quietest exhaust on the market. It has the two regular Magnaflow mufflers plus a resonated X pipe (muffler) section that really quiets the exhaust down. If its still too loud, you're out of luck. But I'm pretty sure she will be happy after adding the Magnaflow Street Catack. |

If the wife is grumbling then maybe its time to buy her her own Camaro! I'll chip in a buck to get you started.
