So water leaks to the inside? Or are you saying it just builds up in the channels and then runs out the back?

Good question...I just can't see where this leak would be coming from based on the description.

There must be drain holes that attach to some pipe that takes the water down under the car. Maybe they are either not connected or missing from your car. See if you can trace where the water goes.

Run a water hose over the car. It will show you where the water is getting in. Let us know. Something is funny here.

I would find the source before you go all negative on GM. They test the piss out of these in a water booth...

Not saying it COULD not be a problem, just hoping that it is an isolated case.

How about those big potholes where the struts mount? It would either pool up in there or there's a drain for those that was not hooked up in his car (as someone suggested above).

Anyway, don't forget that when applying tint, water is sprayed on the inside. If the seats were folded down while they worked on it, they could certainly have dripped water on the inside of the trunk.

Just so ya know if its leaking and cannot be resolved by the leak experts due to mold it can be claimed as a LEMON in most states. I hope it doesnt get that far BUT.

Just a thought, when they tint windows, they put an ass load of soapy water on the back glass to clean it and again to attach the window film. That water will run right down the window into the trunk. I dont see how the actual trunk seal could be leaking with it being such a raised seal.
