Not sure where you live or what the conditions are like -- but it should improve quite a bit depending on driving conditions.

"Thor" has averaged just about 20mpg at 14,500 miles........

(LS3 and 6-speed manual)

Given the rest of his message, I'd be willing to bet that Scott's averaging 20mpg with a mix of highway and city driving. I don't think he's saying that he gets 20 on the highway alone.

I'm not even at 1000 miles yet, but my mileage has seemed to improve so far. It's about what my G35 got on my 2 mile commute and better than the G35 got on the highway, so I'm definitely pleased... especially if it continues to improve for a bit.

I took delivery last Thursday and have put on
about 200 miles, fuel level is just above half
I admit I baby it, haven't figured out how to
get the MPG display on the DIC so I don't know the
average MPG
I am waiting fo a sudden drop on the gauge
like on my Monte it shows 1/2 then drops to 1/4
all of a sudden

Just came back from a VERY fun trip from canada to portland, 4700 km\s total ( 3000miles???) Did 3 days driving in portland WOW , got home and it reads 10.1l/100 I think that works to 24+ - .5 mpg , VERY happy with it , never missed a beat and love the traffic . I now have 10000 km's on it so almost broke in LOL :-)

MPG is going to vary by driving conditions and the weight of your right foot.

TrueDelta conducts a real-world gas mileage survey that, unlike others, includes these factors. Results posted so far for the Camaro (more would be better):

Real-world Chevrolet Camaro gas mileage

For some reason Prius owners are more likely to post their MPG

I posted this in a thread when this very same question came up about the V6 gas mileage...You need to understand the acceleration rates and average MPH used in the EPA tests to truly understand what it takes to replicate their numbers.

Don't worry if there are a few hills, I have crossed the Rockies with mine three times and got 23.5 to 24.5 mpg everytime. That was on cruise control at 75-80 in 6th gear. It went up the the steepest hills the Rockies have to offer on the Interstate freeway system and never lost more than a couple mph on cruise. That's one of the things that blows me away about this car. It performs excellently in so many ways.

They are refering to a performance fix on the L99 cars.
Actually it has fixed LS3's as well if the got low octane put in them by the dealer at some point. Most dealers put in cheap gas to go do the PDQ. GM just sent out an advisory last week nothing but 91 or higher octane gas in Camaro SS's.

The best I've had so far was a 19.5 avg for a 4 hour trip but with my normal driving I average around 14mpg
