to swap or not to swap
hi all, my question is ... worth installing a 6L80 in a 2001 camaro? a subject A friend is trying to sell me the kit ( used 57k 6L80 + harness and ECM)+ installation for $ 1600, but I'm not sure about that .. I tried to find info on the Internet but now I have more questions than answers ..I use this camaro as my DD so for me, fuel consumption is important ..
is worth enough installing the 6L80? and I have another question but it can be very silly  ... but is there any way to make a Paddle Shifter with either 6L80 or a 4L80E? ... you guys not know how much I enjoy playing with itthanks for any help |

Is there anything wrong with your current transmission? If not, I wouldn't even bother. If you did need a repair/replacement, you'd be better off just going with a performance rebuild from many of the vendors or LS1tech.
