Came in tonight and shot 262, 246, 232, 740.

So we won the second half.

Bowled the first half winner afterward.

Best of three against the first half winner I shoot 279 (solid 10 in the fourth), 202, 149, 630.

The 202 I had the front 6. Lanes absolutely fell apart all at once. BUT, their anchor bowler might not agree as he finished 236, 268 and he even shot 746 to my 740 on the first set.

First game of the final. I shoot 279 and we lose by 12 pins.

Second game I shoot 202 and we win by 33.

Third game I shoot 149 and we lose by 181.

So they won the league.

Nice shootin at the opening, you came out for BIG GAME. Guns a BLAZIN.

and continued into the champonship round. Very nice. Right up until the lanes decided to throw you a curve.

you couldn't do anymore than you did in the first game shooting a 279 and still lose.

And the last game, even if you shoot 300, you still lose. So it just wasn't meant to be.

There is always next year, and as long as you are having fun, that is the important part of bolwing with spouse and friends.

Great scores Randy. Sorry you guys lost the league championship . It sucks to come that close for sure .
I had family in town last week so I didn't bowl. My sub helped the team win all 7 points and that should have us in 1st for this 3rd of the season. With only 3 Weeks left I feel we should make the roll off . our league is done in thirds with a winner in each ... Then we have A B C D divisions with a winner in each and if that wasn't enough 1 last spot is rewarded to the team with the most overall points for the year that didn't win a third or a division !
Makes for a 8 team roll off with the team scoring the most overall pins . Total team count after all 3 games.
Confusing but gives All divisions a chance to win the league ..
I'm back at it Thursday myself.

Here are the two recaps for Monday. We had to win all four to NOT have a one game playoff with them for winner of the second half. Which we did. And we then played winner of the first half who beat us 3 of 4 in the first half roll off to win the first half. So It was a rematch. And they won.

What was Bonnie doing that night ?? her mind must have been on the bodybuilding competition not bowling . Lol looks like a nice 181 then is that a 90 on the second sheet ?
She usually bowler better than that . Don't tell I was ragging on her scores ..she might give me a smack down

She felt pretty bad because she said id she'd bowled her average the first game of the final series that we'd have won the league. I told her I know that and thanks a lot.

It is not that Bonnie shot 27 pins under her avg. but rather your opponent Heather shot 63 pins over her avg.

Well after All that talk about Not shooting avg. I go and shoot 155 - 167- 215 = 537 ! we still won 5 of 7 points but just goes to show you never can say I'll at least shoot avg. tonight .

And I LOVE 9 pin no tap. Only bad shot is when you leave a dreaded 4 - 9 or 8 -10. Otherwise pocket hits is a X.
