Emergency Brake Cable Rub
I just lowered the car an inch and now my E Brake cable rubs on my 18 inch Z06 Wheels with the DR's I have heard of this problem, but thought it was limited to the 17inch Bogarts?
Has anybody come up with a good solution yet? |

The easiest and most secure method seems to be to remove most of the slack but allow enough for wheel/suspension travel then cut a piece of fuel line that has the same ID as the Ebrake cable and then slide this hose around the cable to protect it and use Stainless hose clamps to clamp it just behind the first retaining bushing. This prevents it from creeping back towards the wheel. Have had no issues for the past two+ years. See posts 5 & 52 in the link below.....

Zip tie or clamp it by the bushing to your toe rods
