Thanks for keeping me honest. Actually I did get the 40mm offsets, mounted Nitto P305 drag radials and all fits perfect. Look forward to the next track time to see how things work.

Again, thanks to all for the adivse and info.

Did you have to tie the brake lines?

With the 18" Z06 replicas I did tie the e-brake cable back a bit just to be safe that it didn't rub. I think thats a standard practice with those wheels. I left the ties in place when I went to the 17"s just to be safe.

I can get you Forgestar F14 18x10 or 18x11 that will clear the calipers, as long as the roller skate brake pads are not there. No 18s will clear the roller skates, so anyone that has them needs to do a brake pad swap first.

Forgestar 18s are about $300 each. www.forgestar.com

Yes, Nine Ball is correct. But if you want a good setup for the street & strip; this is what I have research so far. Forgestar F14 are a great wheel. You need at least 18 X 9's in the front as there would be an issue with the spokes and breaks, Out back you can run 18 X 10's or 18 X11's. You will have to remove the brake bleader nipple as this will interfere with clearance. On a 2010 Camaro SS if you run the 9's up front the offset is +35 and if you run the 10's out back the offset is +37. These wheels can take up to 6 months as they are made over sea's. I am running this combo on my 2010 Camaro SS with Nitto NT555R - P305-40R-18 have a Dia. of 27.7". Up front I have'nt decided which tire yet as it will depend on the Dia..

My choices would be NT555 255-45ZR-18, with a dia. of 27" or the NT420S 255-50R-18 with a dia. of 28.0". I probably will go with the later as it will be less of a suspension lowering issue. A drop of 1" would be that the front tire is closer to the fender well by 1/4 inch which would'nt be an issue. The Forgestar F14 comes in some good colors also. My Camaro is summit white so I went with the piano black which will be a great contrast.

Welds has an 18 x 10 wheel that will clear the Brembos. They are extremely light and forged. Check with Texas Speed.

Weld also makes a set of 17 fronts and rears that work on the factory Brembo brakes. The RT-S series can accomodate these brakes without spacers or grinding on the caliper. They also have an 18 inch to fit, but if your looking for a good race tire you may look at 17 inch as well.
Hope this helps.

Forgestar F14 wheels

I would need an 18x10 for these tires.

I know a lot of guy's are running drag radials, but I can't beleive everyone is running 20" Nitto555R. Is anybody out there running 18's with 305's?
Forgestar F14 wheels will fit. If you get their staggered package. 18X9 for the front and 18X10 in the rear. For the rear tires you have two options, a P305/40R/18 Nitto NT555R that has a 27.7inch diameter or the Nitto NT555R 305/45/18 that has a 28.7 inch diameter. What ever one you chose you will onlybe able to lower the car 1 inch. Also you have to remove the brake bleeder nipple as the calipers are very close to the inside of the rim.

PS: you have to run their 9 inch wheel up front for clearance of the brakes. You can't go any smaller up front.

GOOD LUCK

There are staggered packages in 18 inch wheels that will fit. Forgstar F14's are one of them. Do a little more redearch on the web.

Good Luck

I'm looking for some 18s too. An easy cheap source for some track use only.

Look into Forgestar F14's or CCW Wheels. Tou get what you pay for.
