Pulled over for no front license plate

So now I have to get it put on. WA sucks. Anyone know of a state that doesn't require a front license plate? I'm seriously considering moving now.

No front plate in Oklahoma! I'm beginning appreciate it the more I read about everyone's front plate issue.

He gave me a warning and didn't give me the $125.00 citation "this time". But he patrols same town I live in "oak harbor" so I can't dodge him very much longer. Here is what it looks like others are doing:

1. hideaway but requires drilling - http://www.swiftmotorsports.com/prod...cda12b7b10d002

2. this one is no drilling but takes some time to remove - http://www.bdspeedshop.com/item.cgi?...sm&part_id=184

I can't decide which to go with...

I went with Swiftmotorsports and I would recommend it if it weren't still in my trunk along with the front plate. I just can't friggin' do it.

ok i found what you meant at: http://www.ninosport.com/Altec-Remot...e-Holder-400EU

It looks promising for switching from city to highway driving.

promod55 can you post pics of the installation?

I would go with the ...................#1.
1. hideaway but requires drilling - http://www.swiftmotorsports.com/prod...cda12b7b10d002

Maybe you could lengthen the bottom piece so you could mount it in THE CENTER of the car. OFF CENTER looks very bad ...IMO
That one slides under which looks nice (in the photo anyway)
Bottom holes won't be seen.
OR ...you could use the orig. mount & mount it in the lower CENTER like on another Tread W/photos...........(w/Zip Ties With no cost to you )......& It did look Good.
OR ...you could mount it in the factory center spot, where it looks very good.
If you are going to sell in a yr. or 2...............the next owner will have to deal with the holes.............But if he is from your state he needs it anyway.

The factory mount does look good, IF like you said you MUST put a plate on !

Put the plate under your passenger seat - When you get pulled over put it on the dash. Tell him the front license plate bracket is on back order and your not gonna screw up the front bumper to accommodate a fix it law. If its the same officer pulling you over ask for the ticket. Go to the courts and get dealer paper stating you purchased the vehicle and tell the judge that the same officer is following you and knew who you were when pulling you over. Stress that its border line harassment and you want to file a complaint with his superior. He will not want to deal with the hassle every time he pulls you over. Worked for me and my corvette
