Will a V6 bumper fit a SS??
I just bought a new hood that I have only seen pics of on a V6 with out the mail slot, I havent got the hood in yet but I have a feeling that it will not look right with the mail slot. Im thinking that if it dosent look right I might just get a V6 bumper.. Will a V6 bumper bolt right up on a SS?

It will fit, but have you weighed the cost of a new bumper versus filling the mailslot on your SS?

you also need to remember that the lower grill is wider and taller on the SS, this is a pic of Hyltons car... and this is a v6 ...

I was just on a site yesterday that sells a piece that fits into the mail slot to close it up. It's called the 'Close Out Panel' and here is the link: http://www.msperformanceonline.com/100038a.html Just a matter of painting it. Didn't look bad from the site photo. Hope this helps and saves you some green stamps! Peace! |

No problem M99. Just like Grant of T.A.P.S. "We're here to help"!
See you're from North Charleston. I spent a week there in Charleston a few years ago and loved it! Check out the market downtown, the aquarium which is really nice and we stayed at the Citadel. Speaking of which, my nephew from Daytona will be signing with the Citadel on National Signing Day which is Feb.3rd I think, for a full ride in football as their QB. We'll see as a bunch of other schools are trying to land him. I'm pushing for there. Gives me a chance to visit and hit Savannah, GA too. |
