i don't think one is better than the other; it really depends on what you like man.. try and see both side by side if you can, then decide

I personally don't think either of the 2 colors "pop" when I see them... I think they both look kind of bland

BUT... stripes make a TON of difference. I don't like SIM, but when I see SIM with black/CGM stripes...

I'm curious how CGM would look with SIM stripes... that might be quite nice

EDIT: Yep, I just saw that one was posted in the CGM thread... it does look nice with SIM stripes

I'm with Dustin. If it is that close of a call for you, let the stripes decide. If you want stripes, go with the SIM; the CGM stripes make that color look much better. No stripes, go with the CGM.

It's really tuff with 10 color choices,at least you've narrowed it down to 2,good luck you can't go wrong with either

SIM all the way. CGM is the charcoal gray you now see on every family sedan and minivan.

Exactly and one day there will be someone driving it around with some primer and it will look good. Even with a lot of dings and crunches.

I think the CGM stripes on the SIM makes the car pop.

Ordered mine on 5/22/09 SIM with polished 2RS/SS. The prototype Camaro was sim. I think it sets the body lines off. And the CGM stripes set it off even more. Gonna be a great looking car!

Cant go wrong with either IMHO though.
Exactly why we went with CGM, it looks cool with the hint of blue in it. Plus it is very forgiving to the rainy Pacific Northwest weather.

Loved the look of the original concept done in silver. When I first saw it, I said "if James Bond was an American, he'd be driving that car!"

I've owned a silver car and a CGM like colored car... to me, silver is a little boring, and almost cheating. It looks good no matter what, and it never looks dirty unless you drive it through a mud puddle. But it never really did anything for me. CGM just looks mean, darker, smooths out the lines a little more and just has a little more soul for me.
