New springs and bars today WOW is all I can say

So, I was checking into Hotchkis, SLP. Eibach, Pfadt etc, Thinking that SLP is a good company and my prior experince with them and 4th gen SLP cars, I went with SLP springs and sway bars, had them sent to buddies shop.

Showed up bright and early this morning to help install (watch buy lunch etc) my new suspension, WOW was I surprised to find Eibach boxes with SLP package tape on them? WTF. opened the boxes and the bars are all label Eibach? Hmm,, kind of P'd me off, SLP shipped to our door complete kit $704, Eibach SAME kit shipped off ebay $604, and the SLP kit did not even come with a jar of you know what!

So we proceed to install the springs and bars, very straight forward, some what easy ALL but removing that front bar, what a pain in the

So best way to save time, and knuckles was to SAWSALL, the front bar in half... very nice.

Then we cut off the stock mufflers and added the Borla's S type axle back, and I forgot I had the windows tinted before we started the spring work

then off to the alignment shop.

Ok, when all said and done WOW what a drive home found every curve I could and loved it. even though it cost me an extra $100

I traded in a 2006 Vette for this and WOW the springs and bars made me feel like I was back in the vette. did I say WOW.

So this weekend I add the Airaid CAI, and i have a Maggie waiting int he wings, YAHOOOO

I will post before and afters soon, and I took lots of photos while we were doing it if any one wants some

That's jacked up man, I'd be mad about if I paid an extra hundo just to find relabeled eibach boxes. That's pretty low!

But Eibach makes great stuff, glad you're happy with the setup!

SLP is doing that now... their springs and bars are eibach, their supercharger is just a magnacharger, their programmer is just a diablosport programmer, their brakes are just upgraded brembos, .

the only thing they made themselves is the cosmetic stuff they sell, the intake that looks like crap, and their exhaust which requires about 20 clamps for the full set up from the headers back!

Congratulations, gotta post pics so we can see its stance. How much of a drop did you do and how much did it throw your alignment out of whack?
