Mine is not like that. You can't really tell from this picture that great but you can see that it's not like that. Bizarre.

EDITED: Actually, more I look at it, mine might be the same.... Dammit wish I took better pictures.

I'm pretty sure that the 14's come like that. Kelly from PCMofNC said that when they went to cut the pan for it to fit that it was pre-cut from the factory. I'm guessing that it was a friendly gesture from GM saving about an hour of so of labor when installing headers.

Here is what my 2012 belly pan looks like during an oil change. It has some reflective heat rap applied in the area that is cut away on the other belly pan images.

I highly doubt the dealer cut it. My best guess, GM revised the design and the new part has been added. It's also not uncommon to put a new part on, find issues, either with the new part or assembly process, go back to the old part that works right until a revise on the part or process is done, then go back to the new part again.

That's awesome. Mine has the older version with the heat shield. I'm sure they did it for easier access to the oil filter and drain plug.

It doesn't help accessing either; still need to remove the belly pan to change the oil and filter. GM must have been reading the posts about needing to cut to install headers.

The dealer can't cut it that well Look at the mold....it's factory. I installed a ZL1 belly pan on my 1LE and JR from 510 and I had to cut it....now I want the '14 and up since our cuts don't look that good.

23188146 List price is $134.17. That number is moulded into the rear piece. I don't know if that includes the front piece too.
