between this and the rear diff groan when cold my car is gonna need some time in the service department. im flying to orlando at the end of the week so its gonna have to wait a while.

the problem is the shudder is not easily reproducible for me. it seems very random as to whether it happens or not.

Mine started out the same way, under lite throttle at around 50 mph, then it started to shake the whole car where passengers could feel it in their seats and the floor. The warmer it got the worse the shudder. I live in south Florida so it gets pretty hot. Good luck to all that have this issue!
On a side note, I've had to replace the battery at 10k miles, the driver window actuator won't work, it's on order. But no matter I love this beast!

My 2018 got it at 1400 miles, had the flush done at 1500 miles, right now I'm at 2300 with no issues. The dealership was great about it, I explained the issue, mentioned the TSB and they took care of it without hassle.

So where did you feel the shudder? Mine seems to be from the drivers side rear. I’m wondering if mine is more differential than trans but damn, they’re all connected being within the power train

To any of you that have your torque converter replaced, make sure to check your steering wheel, I've noticed that mine has 3/4 inch of slop from side to side in it now and it just doesn't feel right. I've got an appointment next week for it. My dealership is by far the best I've ever dealt with.

Mine is doing it but seems to do it was less in Sport mode. Is that possible or is it me? I am also considering not even taking it to the dealer for it since I will be doing a converter from Circle D in the next few months and getting it tuned.

I thought the same about putting it in sport mode but it still reacts the same regardless what mode it's in. Good luck on getting yours straightened out.

Reading all of this is certainly concerning. Would it be prudent to have the triple flush done before having any shudder, as 'prophylaxis'?

If you're not having any issue's I would leave it alone. Mine, like most, started during break in or soon after. This has most definitely been a pain in the ass. Out of 2 years my car has been in the shop for more than a month. Good luck if you take it in.

Had flush done of tc and rear diff, still had the shudder, had the tc replaced, everything was great for about 2 weeks... its back at the dealership today, next step is to replace the rear diff. Hoping this fixes it. 2017 2SS that currently has about 9500 miles on it.

2017 - 50th Anniversary

Took my car back to the Dealership on Monday for the 3rd time on my torque converter problem. Just got the call yesterday that they are finally changing it out... good news to hear finally! The flushings just didn't work on my ride. I went through 2 Triple Flushes. Looking forward to getting her back, I definitely miss driving her!

same thing happened to me. did the triple flush, which worked for maybe 800 miles, then again, and it never went away, then finally the replacement. It's been good since.
