Hi, I just bought a 2013 2ss vert. How can I tell if it is a RS or 1LE? I don't have the title yet and there was no paper work with the car when I bought it. Is there something in vin that I could look for or any special options that only come on these models? Any help would be appreciated.

Red SS badges (instead of silver/white) would be an indicator of the RS package. I believe the 1LE comes with a matte black hood and different wheels from the factory. There are probably more precise ways to determine which model you have but thats a good quick visual indicator...

Does it have red or white SS emblems? red means its an RS/SS. Also does it have the halos in the headlights. Those will tell you really quickly if you have an RS.

doesn't matter 1LE's do not come in convertible trim.

It has red badges. Thank you it was bugging the crap out of me not knowing.

This is true. The color of the SS badges and the presence of Halos would be a reliable indicator on a "new" car, but anything pre-owned could be modded to suit.
