Took 2 weeks to find my 1SS/RS. I didn't want a 2SS. I've never been a fan of leather. I'm always in short shorts during the summer and leather just doesn't mix well haha! The HUD was in my line of vision and the empty space where the 4 gauge cluster is suppose to be is a perfect place for my phone or purse. It just works better for me

Some of those options can be bought separately with a 1SS, but to me the whole package is well worth the price.

i have the frameless mirror,and upraded stereo also on the 1 ss
and angie 7 stop teasing with the short shorts (or on other hand don't)

what you got against the 2ss cause alot of people do prefer it and they really get their nickers in a twist here if someone disagrees with them. trust me, i've been pissing these guys of for awhile

it is, i did'nt think i would find anybody with the same reasons as me,i've had leather before and hated it for more than 1 reason. i'm from the old school of hot rodding where all i need is bare min.
also neither my nova or chevelle have back up cameras or hud

I never liked the shinny door panels,and didn't want leather seats.So im quite happy with the 1SS,but i had to have the 4pk gauges!

Love my HUD, don't care about the gauges, seats are beige on the seating area, windows tinted, no heat problem (even Angie could sit on them).

A lot of nice features with the 2SS, but we all like different things.

I wanted it all! I can't even count anymore the times someone has said "cool gauge cluster!" I bought exactly what I wanted, for me...as did 95% of the people on here.

I just want the camera and park sensors. All the other stuff is is user preference.
