Just got off the phone with my dealer..HELP!

Ahh man..my salesman just called and told me that he got word that Cyber Gray is Constrained!...He said if I chose another color my car would be here sometime in April...if I stay with CGM..I would be looking at June at the earliest for Delivery!...WTF do I do..Camaro Scotty or EVS guys??? have you heard this?? I don't want to start another "the sky is falling thread" but I am beside myself... I told him I would get back to him tomorrow

I was told by my dealer that there were no constraints at the start of production. I am not CamaroScotty, but that is what I heard.

I hope there is a constraint...this gives me 2 more months to save up for my down payment.

Definitely need to find out the scoop from a reliable source, that's for sure, because choosing the right color for you is critical if not the most important decision to be made about the car. Whatever the case may be, don't let a time delay make your decision on color. If you do, you'll regret it later. If CGM is the color that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up, then stick with it and see what happens. It is very possible that your dealer is wrong (SHOCK!)

as no official constraints have been issued yet, and as orders won't be pulled untill after constraints are issued - calm down. In all likelihood your dealer is an idiot, but let's wait and be certain.

So it's "awaiting validation" which to me means that it should be good to go. Basically the situation is that they're building Impalas in a different gray color. Closer to production start, or on production start, they'll swap the paint buckets so the robots can spray CGM. So barring something ridiculous, CGM should be available on car 001 (if that's what Mr. Hendrick wants). This isn't something complicated (like ABL apparently is).

Stick with your color choice. IT's only a month or so wait IF they are right about what they told you. You will have to live with a color that was your second choice the rest of the time you have the car. Make sure there are no regrets. You waited this long, you can wait a couple more months for that PERFECT car for you.

According to fbodfather there are no constraints on the CGM. They're just waiting to finish off the paint currently in use by the impalas.

Consensus is monthly but the constraints are updated weekly. Not sure if they'll continue to update the Camaro constraints though.
