That's like comparing the new computer with the old Atari ! !
Are you really serious ? ? The Chevelle was awesome in it's time, and still is a great classic ! The " new " Camaro is a great car too. But when you factor what the Chevelle had with " NO " emissions and garbage attached to the engine, it sounded a whole lot more of a sports car than todays Camaro. I have an 2011 SS and some of my friends that remember the the cars in the 60's and 70's said the new car just doesn't sound the same as they used to. Anyway, I guess the comparing thing is just a game, It certainly can't be serious. |

The Camaro vs Chevelle one will be the only close one, IMO.. The rest of them seemed pretty easy decisions.

The chevelle. Easily. The 2010 camaro will never be as cool. Now of it was between the 1970 chevelle and the 1969 camaro, we might have a comparison.

I voted Camaro. It's my favorite car. Though I'd like to own a classic like the Chevelle (or 1st gen Camaro), in the end they don't stack up to the 5th gen Camaro to me.

I picked Chevelle. Shouda put the 2010 SS against something different for the 1st round. BTW-2010 ZR1 takes the whole thing!

Chevelle all the way!!
I love my camaro, but we will see if my 2011 camaro can stand the test of time. I dont care for camaros from 1971-2002, they were ok, but not great. There were a few like the IROC Camaros that were ok. I owned a 1970 Chevelle, a 1970 Corvette, and still own a 1970 Camaro...and you just cannot compare these cars to the 5 gens!

Maybe Chevy is doing some market research! Move the Camaro to the new alpha platform in a few years and release a zeta based Chevelle with the supercharged CTS-V motor!!!
