For those that dont have the chevelle but have the camaro but chose the chevelle, why not get that instead of the camaro??

From the results so far, I'm predicting the Chevelle, ZR1, or '57 is going to win it all. Since the ZR1 and '57 are in the same bracket, it will be one of them vs Chevelle in the finals. The 5th Gen got the worst possible matchup in the first round of that bracket. I still can't believe my favorite, the '63 Split window Vette, isn't in there (they pictured a convertible). Those '63-'67 Vettes are my favorites. It is telling that the only two Camaros are 1st Gen and 5th Gen. No cars from the '70s (Chevelle doesn't really count as a '70s car). And what's with the '89 pickup? Really?

ahhh... this is too hard for my brain to handle this early... I've always loved the 70'.... own a 2010 SS... both cars are top notch on styling for their time hands down... smooth sexy curves of a 70' vs the sharp-sexy curves of the 5th gen... damn you GM!!!

If it was any other pairing i would have picked the Camaro. But I had to go with the Chevelle as the better car.

The Chevelle is a true muscle car icon and one of GM's best classics but it is certaintly not better than the 5th gen Camaro...sure the 5th gens may be decked out with plastic and not have the emissions-free roar and pure power of a LS6 but why do so many of us drive a 5th gen and not a Chevelle? The 5th gen is more comfortable, less maitnence, more technology, better ride, etc which would make it a better car
Don't get me wrong I'm not a Chevelle hater, I've driven many before and LOVE them! The Chevelle may better suit someone's taste of a muscle car, but the 5th gen has much more improvements to make it a better overall car.

I'd love to vote for the Camaro but I'm not a Facebook member and have no interest in being one. Stinks that GM won't let everyone participate who want to vote.
