It would be real close. What other mods do you have? Is the SS is modded, then no.

If it's a V8 GT40 MKIV, no

If it's a V8 Bonneville, yes

Ask vader2011v6. He's running low 13's with that kit and says when it's finished being tuned he should be running 12.8's which is the same as the magazines claim a stock SS will run. It'll be a drivers race with the IPF kit it seems.

My IPF'd LFX was pulling on my friend's SS, both M6 cars, on a freeway entrance ramp.

Good enough for me.

It would be a good race. I've raced a few ss. It should be a drivers race. Depends are you going for quarter mile time or off a roll? Off a roll shouldn't be a problem. I actually pulled away hard from a bolt on ss camaro off. 1st gear roll.ipf kit is solid definitely reliable.is your car auto or stick?Launching is a little tricky with the manual.

Isn't the real question can it beat a supercharged SS? Comparison should be stock to stock or mod to mod when discussing which car is actually better.

On a side note, years ago a guy wouldn't run me in my old Camaro because it wasn't stock. I said I would go and get my stock little two seater which is only a 4 cylinder if he wanted to. I came back with my 4 cylinder 11 second Kawasaki "two seater" motorcycle and he still wouldn't run me.
