On the 2016 SS, The first and only things I did were Mishimoto Catch can and a drop-in K&N Filter.

On the 1LE, so far I have picked up a skip shift eliminator, dark rear taillights and 3rd brake light, diode dynamics dark side marker lights, clear bra for the front and the side fenders, and swapped the rear SS badge to a 1LE badge.

I think next will be the zl1 addons rock guards for extra rock-chip insurance! Then probably a rotofab intake and if PRAY starts porting again, his TB and Manifold!

Omg, thank you!! I didn't know this existed and ever since I noticed it did this it's been bothering the crap outta me! (why did Chevy set it up this way, btw?? :-/ )

Did you install yourself? How was it?

I upgraded the front turn signals to LED bulbs to be sure they were bright enough with the eyebrow lights on.

I think there is also another vendor on here that makes the same harness.

Tell us about your cargo net! Where did you get it? How did you install?

I had a cargo net like this on my last car & loved it so I saved in hopes that I could put in in my Camaro but it is way too wide & not sure where I could screw in the hooks :(
Any advice??

The site has installation instructions with pretty good photos. They say to remove the front wheel well liners but you could probably just loosen the front and pull it back to access the wiring. I went ahead and removed the front bumper because I was installing the black glo-tie at the same time. The harness wasn't terribly difficult to do.

Chevy set it up that way because the Federal Government requires it. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 (FMVSS 108) mandates that when a daytime running light is in close proximity to a turn signal it must be turned off during signaling. Here's a link:

https://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-id...e49.6.571_1108

Here is the relevant text in section S7.10.10.1.

"
S7.10.10.1 Spacing to turn signal lamps. Each DRL not optically combined with a turn signal lamp must be located on the vehicle so that the distance from its lighted edge to the optical center of the nearest turn signal lamp is not less than 100 mm unless,
(a) The luminous intensity of the DRL is not more than 2,600 cd at any location in the beam and the turn signal lamp meets 2.5 times the base front turn signal photometric requirements, or
(b) The DRL is optically combined with a lower beam headlamp and the turn signal lamp meets 2.5 times the base front turn signal photometric requirements, or
(c) The DRL is deactivated when the turn signal or hazard warning signal lamp is activated.
S7.10.11 Multiple compartments and multiple lamps. No requirement.
S7.10.12 Ratio. No requirement."

I bought one from an online auction for $8; it measures 36 x 12.

It didn't come with mounting hooks so I designed and 3D printed my own in black ABS, but these are also available online.

The top of the net mounts where the two plastic pins are in the trunk liners.

The bottom hooks I mounted in the floor lid just forward of the two cutouts for lifting up the lid.

I'm satisfied!

If it was mine:

-Tinted taillights(not oem, just partial tint)
-Reverse led(maybe)
-Clear side markers like EU version(If car is black)
-Add some wheel tape in red(if car is black)
-Tinted windows
-Coat and protective wrap(By far must have)

...
...

That's all I do, like to keep my car stock. Even then, those 'mods' can get expensive.

I will do that, but for now. I have each one hanging from the center console next to the seat belt clip. I will take a pic when I get home.
