are they the same? if i were to get a peddlers kit would i have to special order v6 parts or are they the same?

I know the Pedders pace car kit works! Xa Coilovers, Subframe inserts and radius arm inserts.

The one major change between the V6 and V8 is the rear shock length. You will find that some drop spring packages designed for the V8 will no longer fit the V6 rear shocks. You've got a couple options:

1. Swap from V6 to V8 rear shocks and run the drop springs you want.
2. Install coilovers
3. We are currently working on a spring package that will work for both the V6 and V8 cars. It should be available shortly within the next 2 months or so.

Aside from springs everything from the V8 works on the V6.
