SCT Tuner question

I realize that when you first tune your car with the SCT tuner, the tuner gets locked to your car. If I have it right, going back to the stock tune unlocks the tuner so that it can be used on something different.

My question is can you use the SCT tuner to data log if it is not locked to your car. I am getting a custom tune, and plan to put the stock tune back before I let them have at it. I would still like to be able to data log with the tuner. Is this possible?

You are correct, but you can only do that 3 times then it has to go back to SCT.

Yes you can datalog any car supported by the tuner without programing the car or locking to the car, you can also read and clear codes.

If you need an SCT tune let me know I have Lots of Experience with these new camaros, and SCT.

Ted.
