I bought this emblem from GM through my parts guy at the dealership, and adhered it to the trim...what do y'all think?

I might end up doing this instead of the decal, gotta buy the yellow interior first though.

thinkin i might do the same... do you have the RS pkg? if so did you leave this one silver on purpose, or would it be better to match the red ones on mine,.... hmmm....or maybe a blacked out one.... i'm not quite sure, but i do like it!

I do have the RS package, yes. I went with white because my car is white with IOM striping and IOM/Black interior...so I got this whole orange and white theme going on. I'm also taking my headrests to Bannister's in ATL, so they can restitch the "SS" in white...

I thought this was much better than a decal, it's a geniune GM part, so it looks factory. The part was $25, and if you order it from GMPDirect, it's the same after shipping...

QUESTION - was the adhesive already on the piece or did you have to apply it ??

Thanks for the pics.

The emblem comes with adhesive already applied to the back of it. It's thin too which was nice, and applied only to the lettering, so no adhesive shows in between.
