how much will it cost to make both tires burn

I know that the automatic v6 camaro doesnt have the lsd so only one wheel will spin but i think thats the only thing thats stopping me from wanting it. I read i will be able to add a certain part but i was wondering how much will it cost to get done and what is the part?

About $4. $3 for lighter fluid and $1 for a box of matches

I don't know exactly what it would cost, but I know it won't be huge.

Just out of curiosity why aren't you getting the manual?

sorry for my question, but is it only without the lsd when you have one wheel spinning, so if i got the lsd since i ordered manual, i would have both wheels spinning? Ive heard the term peglegged and im guessing thats only for the auto

Yeah lsd (no lsd= peglegged) will give you both wheels spinning, and lsd is standard on all models but V6 auto for costs reasons (I guess), though I wish they would have put an lsd on V6 autos too:(.

No reason to be sorry, it's a forum : )

All the cars but the V6 auto have the limited slip diff. so yes, you'll have both wheels spinning.

The lsd for the mustang is about $250....but labor is in the 750-800 area.... cracking a rear end open is a pain.

well i never drove a stick before and even though its not i know the concept of driving one i dont want to kill my transmission practicing on it. Im thinking about getting a 98-02 manual camaro for now because i just want something more sporty then my impala. I guess another reason is i want to have fun with a car now since im 20 instead of later.

Yeah this is why I am not too upset about the auto not getting an LSD, as I know the TC system is good, and I won't be driving like James Bond or anything in my V6. I think it is a financially smart move by GM as most of the V6 buyers will not truly need a LSD.
