2ls LFX rear gear ratio?

Is there a difference between the A6 2ls rear gear ratio and A6 lt rear gear ratio?

yes the 2ls has a 2.92 ratio compare to the 1lt 2lt a6 at 3.27 i believe the ss a6 is also 3.27.

Thanks. I'm kinda disappointed. I picked up a 2ls assuming all LFX's had 3.27.
I guess I gotta seriously consider the 3.55 upgrade or wait to see if richmond will make a 3.73 for the A6 LFX

ya that about the only few options for the a6 v6's right now for gears. with out doing whole rear end swap. one of a couple of reason i went with the m6 positrac and gearing options.

Yep this is a great site for info. Plus the 2ls is a terrific car as well giving time hopefully there will be abit more mods out for the rear end and gears for the a6.

Something will come out eventually that's bad marketing by Chevy if they don't clarify the different rear ends.

Yea I doubt they would actually say," well sir, are you aware your getting 2.92 gears instead of the 3.27 gears" for about the same price. Now I got a reason to get some 3.55's atleast of find a deal on a ss rear to swap which I wanted to do anyway

The SS and v6 M6's come with 3.45's. U could use the same gears as the SS, so u can get 4.11's with no problem.
