PTB first. You will get better TR. Rockers will only make it look better.

Go with the rockers first. TB is nice but with out a tune and some other goodies its kind of pointless. Start out with what the 1LE was missing from the start. .

I have added a ported TB to both my 5th gen SSes. I can't tell the difference before and after. I also added the Vararam Wedge just for fun. Don't bother.

But by the time you buy the rockers and paint them you are getting close to a CAI. You can feel and hear that! Add a scoop and add 18 RWHP.

Always add more go before show FTW!

I did the ZL1 Rockers and I have the Bo White TB on order and I will also add the SOLO High Flow cats to my NPP. I already have Roto-Fab CAI installed and I am done. No tune needed for these and I do not want to tune at least while under warranty.

I say do both. The Ported TB is only $150!

You are not the first to say this, and that is why I have put my funds into the rockers....

I had the same question, and elected to go with neither.
Too much $$$, and not much in returns.

How I rationalized this.

-The head turning factor will not change at all with the ZL1 rockers IMHO.

-Are you gaining HP on the dyno, improving your 1/4 mile times, and trap speed with the ported TB? I say nope.

I'm all ears.

I'd say go with the side rockers. As others have said, adding what should have been there from day one makes for a nice visual improvement.
