Awesome! I guess I missed the little "watch in HD" link when I was viewing them after uploading... coolness. I'm glad the quality made it through.
If you watched the youtube vids, make sure you click the little "watch in HD" link below the bottom right corner of the video window.

As for the height question... I didn't even feel the top of the car brushing my hair (it's a little spiked) like I do in some cars... so I'd say there's easiliy another couple of inches. This was w/the seat all the way down and back however... leaving room for only a legless passenger behind you. I'd say 6'4" would be the tallest that could COMFORTABLY fit... however, I wasn't really paying that much attention to it beyond that fact that I fit fine, so it's quite possible that I'm off and I'm sure every 6'4" person may be proportioned differently... so take it for what it's worth.

Thank you very much for speaking about the height question. You're information was more helpful than you know!

That image of both rear diffusors just shows (me at least) how much better the GFX rear 'fits' the car over the round outlets. I seriously hope the aftermarket (RKSport would be nice) brings out an identical set for less $. Or GM decides to offer them body color.

EDIT: Looking at the photo's, I'm pretty sure even my mother would be in love with the Black Camaro. She LOVES black cars. And she's a Camaro person (she had a 1970).

Hey Cynthia (AND EVERYONE) I am Brian and I am one of the narrators/presenters on the Camaro this year (and last) on the Auto Show Circuit. I hope you all enjoyed the NAIAS and the pictures from the show this year!.

2 answer your question regarding the interior of the Camaro Black Concept, YES it is a bit different. Mainly with the custom work done to the seats. The stitching on the seats as well as the leather have been changed up a bit. The inserts on the seats are Suede or Microfiber (not sure which) on the seats. and then the faceplates on the 4pack as well as the Speed and Tach are a dark grey/silver....

Hope you questions have been answered and let me know if you have any more and I can try to answer them the best I can!

thanks for your input. it's always great to have an 'inside guy' to help clear up misconceptions & rumors.

i was wondering, though, are there are any plans to offer gauges like the ones in any of the SEMA concepts?

I am unfortunately, not sure. At this point I have heard of no plans to have those face plates, but in that same breath, I am also not in constant contact with direct GM employees involved with the Camaro, I receive my information from Mr. Settlemire only, and on rare occasion, have discussions with the design team and the marketing manager, that is all. So Scott would be the one to provide more information on that. I apologize that I could not be more helpful.

Hey Brian,

Nice to see you here. NAIAS was a great show and there was almost a constant line for folks wanting to check out the driver's seat of the Victory Red 2SS.

Fun working the show with ya man!

So, after spying on pics here for the past 7 months, I finally got a chance
to get in and see it in person. And let me say, for all of those who think they have seen it through pics, it's WAY better in person... hold your judgement until you see it 1st hand. The first thing that jumped out at me was the size of those brembos... huge.

The fit and finish of the interior is pretty good, I like the way the seats feel and it had plenty of leg/head room for me at 6'2". I'm not so sure I like the vinyl stripes though... I think I'd rather have them painted. I won't be able to get one until 2012'ish anyway, so we'll see what GM is offering by then.

The car looks a whole lot more aggressive in person... don't ask me how though. We showed up at opening so we could get a look but some people had already beat us there... regardless, I was still able to get in and get plenty of pics/vids of outside of car. I didn't have a chance to get any pics of the inside as I didn't want to be holding up the line of people waiting to get in.

I did post a few of the vids on youtube. This one in particular is of the spokeperson's dish about the car: here. There are a couple of other vids too if you just look at my other vids on youtube. I have these recorded in full 1920x1080 HD, however, when trying to format for youtube's version of HD, it didn't work out... so sorry in advance about the quality.

Also - high res pics on my flickr account: here

This car is SWEET ... At one point, my wife was even saying... "Oh let's get that one" about the black concept. It looks like it's a great car... and I hope it's a big success for GM.

I think the coolest part was seeing how many people were lined up to see the car around noon when we left... that without having a flashy display, like the Mustang's. We were talking to the rep, brian, and he said that he had seen the line to get into the car extend well past what it was at when we were there. (PS - Tag, he says he's meet you )

Anyway, hope this is worthwhile for some.
Very, very worthwhile. Some of the best pics, and DEFINITELY the BEST vids we have seen yet.

T H A N K Y O U ! !
