Hope no one takes offense at that.
When they started they flew someone in from Trifecta to tune it on the dyno, which is why I asked Tracy to post videos so we could all see. But now I'm sure it's being done via email.

As Gretchen said, on-site custom tuning is just about the best way to go because then if there is a knock issue it can be determined in person. I do handle some mail order tuning too don't get me wrong but its on a per client basis and I need them to have a strong mechanical background on anything more than a bolt-on for me to take on the task to be honest, otherwise it's not worth it. I give props to the mail order tuners that have the time to spend and make these cars perfect; it takes a lot longer than in person. Im sure they'll get it done.

A fellow Chicago member sent me a couple of pics this morning. You can see how Tracy was able to utilize my CAI intake.

I feel the same way about my car too. The lfx has so much more tuning capabilities. I had to cancel my tuning session in July might reschedule in August. Ill keep everyone posted on the progress once I get it to the shop.

Hey Butters, what part of Chicago are you from? In other words, Cubs or Sox fan?

Haha! We're from the south side but use to be cubs fans. Now we're just Blackhawks fans!

Are you on here? http://www.chicago5thgen.com/

I called the shop 2 days ago, left a message, still no answer. So I'm currently working on a plan B route.

Thanks to everyone who has been reaching out via PM, phone calls, etc. This is a great community to be a part of. I'll keep you all posted.

That's just a shame. Not sure how radical your plan B is, but I'd keep on trying to call them, and I'd demand to know what's going on. Of course you never know if the information you're getting is accurate.

I wish you the best of luck and hope you get her back running great. There is no way I could ship my car so far away and not be able to at least stop in and see the work being done.

I tried calling RX for the third time today, no one picks up and now their inbox is completely full. Guess I'm not the only person trying to get a hold of him!
