To those that have dual color halos installed from aac..

I order a set of dual color halos for my 2LT-RS and I was just wondering for those that have installed these before, where did you place your switch and how..? I'm gonna put these on myself and don't want to mess it up! Was there a hole that has to be drilled ..?

any help or suggestions would be great! Thanks folks!

I am also wondering the same thing, I bought the Blue Halos/Fogs and the footwell lights and I am pondering on where to put the switch.

I have also seen people put the switch to the left of the headlight switch. I just ordered the AAC fog halos with the LED switch. I am going to try to put my switch in that location.

See thats whats I've seen also! My thing is, do you have to drill a hole to put it there? Thats a good spot for it and I don't mind putting it there, I just have to get tools to do if I have to drill. Please I've never done this before and I want it to look good and not like my drunk uncle did it or somethin!

If you're looking for a pre-drilled hole that you can just pop a switch into and be good to go I'm fairly certain you won't be finding that. Wouldn't be very high quality if there were just random holes everywhere

So, yes, you will have to drill for your switch. On the plus side that means that you get to decide exactly where you want the switch and what type of switch you want. Just be careful when doing so

You can always go with a remote, and program it into the overhead aux buttons.

I didn't go with the dual halos, but AAC did install two switches on the console. One is for my fogs and the other is for my floorwell lighting. You can see them in this pic.

Well AacStyle is sending a switch with the kit. the first thing I did was look for the pre-drilled holes! My 07' mustang had them. Now, if I do in fact have to drill, does that mean that I have to run the connecting wires from under the hood and in to the car, under the dash...etc..?

I believe, yes...there are places in the firewall to go through. I haven't gotten my fog halos yet, but am planning on doing just that...

Thats pretty sweet man! Looks great! I'd have Aac install it for me but they're about 2.5 hours from me and I honestly dont have the cash. Nothing wrong with a little manual labor though!

Sounds like a good idea. If you get your halos before I get mine, let me know how it goes!

Hmmm, if you guys are opting to putting switches where they won't be seen, I'm sure you could get the center console around the shifter/gauge cluster off pretty easy and wire it to the arm rest storage. That's what I would do if I had any interest in doing something like this. It would take more time, but would be much cleaner and a lot cooler.

Just throwing out an idea for you.
